This Laphroaig 12 Year Old single malt was selected by the Distillery Manager to be set aside & bottled exclusively for Highgrove Royal Gardens, Selected & bottled exclusively for Highgrove, this organic single malt whisky is distilled from Scottish organic malted barley. Some soft vanilla & mild sugar, along with ripe banana, & green apple. Palate: Smoky & peaty, with a fair amount of pepper & some tannins. A bit medicinal. Theres not a lot left of the sweetness that was so prominent in the nose. Finish: peat & nutty aromas with a hint of chocolate at the end. Long, but not overpowering. ...
